Atlas Ocean Voyages Unveils 2028/29 Antarctica Season with More Ways To Explore The White Continent

Atlas Ocean Voyages

Atlas Ocean Voyages has announced its 2028/29 Antarctica season, comprising 25 yacht-style expeditions running from October 2028 through March 2029. The program includes three ways to cross the Drake Passage: Drake Fly & Sail (now four nine-night departures, up from two), Drake Express flights (two seven-night trips), and traditional nine-night Antarctic Discovery sea crossings. Longer options include two 12-night Antarctic Circle crossings and an 18-night Grand Antarctica voyage departing January 7, 2029, visiting the Peninsula, South Georgia and the Falklands.

A November 16, 2028 departure will mark the centenary of the first powered flight over Antarctica by Wilkins and Eielson. Voyages include expedition teams of up to 17 specialists, Zodiac excursions, shore landings, and optional kayaking or camping. Atlas is also offering launch incentives, including bonus savings and air credits, for bookings made by December 31, 2026, before new pricing begins in 2027.
