Atlas Ocean Voyages announced that wildlife expert and photographer Ron Magill will join a 16-night Antarctica and Falkland Islands expedition aboard the World Traveller, departing March 13, 2027 from Ushuaia, Argentina. During the voyage, Magill will give presentations on Antarctic and Falklands wildlife and conservation, lead photography workshops, and join select Zodiac excursions and shore landings when conditions allow.
The itinerary crosses the Drake Passage to Antarctica, featuring glaciers, icebergs and wildlife including penguins, seals and whales, with daily Zodiac outings and guided landings. It also includes a call at the Falkland Islands, known for five penguin species and varied wildlife and scenery. The voyage is offered under the line's Explorer's Choice program, allowing guests to add selected amenities, alongside standard inclusions like dining and expedition gear.
