29 upcoming Antarctic departures offering mountaineering & ski touring, from $9,600 per person. Optional activities have limited places — book them with the cruise.
A handful of expeditions carry qualified mountain guides and offer roped glacier climbs or ski-touring ascents with untouched descents to the sea. Groups are small, previous alpine or off-piste experience is required, and weather dictates everything.
