Think layers: thermal base layers, a fleece mid-layer, waterproof over-trousers, warm hat and waterproof gloves, plus high-SPF sunscreen and sunglasses. The expedition parka is usually provided or gifted by the operator, and rubber landing boots are loaned on board.
