Antarctic departures in November 2028

November is early summer: 24-carat white landscapes, penguins courting, mating and laying eggs, and seals pupping on the beaches. The snow is at its cleanest and photographers rate the low-angle light the best of the season. Peninsula temperatures hover around −2 to +5 °C, with fast-lengthening days.

It is also value month — fares run noticeably below the December–January peak, with a wide choice of departures. Elephant seal beaches on South Georgia are at their most dramatic now.
