When is the best time to go to Antarctica?
The season runs from late October to March — the Antarctic summer. November offers pristine ice and courting penguins, December–January bring the warmest weather, penguin chicks and up to 20 hours of daylight (and the highest prices), while February–March are best for whale watching and often cheaper.
