Aurora Expeditions unveils 2028 Northern Hemisphere season, with all-new Cultural Expeditions

Aurora Expeditions

Aurora Expeditions has opened bookings for its 2028 Northern Hemisphere season, comprising 29 departures across 20 countries aboard its small ships Douglas Mawson and Sylvia Earle. The program includes 16 Polar Expeditions, six Discovery Expeditions and seven newly introduced Cultural Expeditions, the latter extending the company's focus beyond polar regions into cultural coastlines of Europe, the British Isles and the Mediterranean.

Among the polar itineraries, two new Arctic voyages debut for 2028: a Norway-Svalbard route combining fjords and wildlife-rich tundra, and an active Greenland expedition featuring the Greenland Ice Sheet and Ilulissat Icefjord. Returning Arctic voyages include a Svalbard and East Greenland journey and a Northwest Passage route through Canadian Arctic waters. New Discovery itineraries also link Iceland, Greenland and Scotland. Bookings made with deposit by October 31, 2026 qualify for discounts on select voyages.
