Aurora Expeditions has lowered its minimum age for voyages, now allowing children aged six and over to join its expedition cruises, including polar itineraries. The move is aimed at making expedition travel more accessible to families wanting to explore remote regions together, supported by onboard expedition teams offering wildlife viewing, Zodiac excursions and educational programming.
To support the change, Aurora is offering discounts of up to 50% off the best available fare for children aged six to 15 on eligible voyages, subject to terms and conditions. The announcement applies across Aurora's small-ship expeditions, which include polar departures to destinations such as Antarctica and the Arctic, as well as other discovery and cultural itineraries.
