HX Expeditions has partnered with ITV on a new three-part documentary series, 'Julia Bradbury's Wonders of the Frozen South', airing on ITV1 at 12:45pm on February 15, 22 and March 1. The series follows presenter Julia Bradbury on a 23-day voyage aboard HX's expedition ship MS Fram, covering the Falkland Islands, South Georgia and Antarctica, with each episode focused on one destination.
The programme highlights wildlife, landscapes and local communities in the Southern Ocean region, along with scientists and expedition staff working there. The release, timed to HX's 130th anniversary, also mentions a travel agent promotion tied to the broadcast window, offering extra entries into a prize draw for bookings made during the series' airtime, including a trip from Hamburg to Heligoland in May.
