HX Expeditions has announced its 2027/28 season, focusing on deepening existing itineraries rather than adding new destinations. Key polar updates include expanded community-led excursions in Arctic Canada, developed with Inuit Elders as part of the Northwest Passage itinerary, and enhanced Greenlandic culinary programmes featuring local chefs serving traditional dishes. In Antarctica, HX continues its large-scale kayaking and camping programme introduced in 2025, allowing more guests to paddle and camp in the region.
The release also covers non-polar destinations like Patagonia, Iceland, Norway and the Outer Hebrides, and introduces a revamped four-tier HX Explorers loyalty programme (Bronze to Platinum) with new ways to earn points onboard and at home. For polar travellers, the announcement signals more immersive, culturally engaged experiences in Arctic Canada and Greenland, alongside continued expansion of adventure activities in Antarctica, without new ships or itinerary regions being added.
